Club History
The South Hedland Cougars are a longstanding Pilbara rugby league club with senior men’s, women’s and junior involvement. The Cougars won the inaugural NRL WA North West Cup in 2020, defeating the Karratha Roosters 46–18. Bringing junior and senior football under one identity created a broader community-club pathway.
Additional Information
The club promotes a family-oriented culture with respect as a central value. Marie Marland Reserve is also used for major regional events including the Pilbara ANZAC Challenge.
