Club History
Karratha Junior Rugby League was formed as a unified regional organisation in 2017. It expanded from three age groups in 2023 to five divisions, including Girls League Tag, in 2024, and adopted the Karratha Kangaroos identity in 2025.
Additional Information
The organisation was named the 2025 NRL Community Rugby League Club of the Year. Public club information reported that participation had doubled since 2020, with strong female and Indigenous participation.
