Club History
Newman’s rugby league committee was organised in 1977. A Newman representative team travelled to Perth in 1978, the first Newman–Port Hedland inter-town match was played in 1979, and Newman defeated Port Hedland for the Emu Export Pilbara Championship in 1986.
